Thanks to the First Book Marketplace and community support, the Twelve Books program at Bonne Ecole Elementary in Slidell, Louisiana will be giving away 1,560 books to students this Friday, May 18. Every first grader will receive 12 self-selected books to take home and keep. Thanks First Book for helping us give our students access to books!

Outstanding! Thanks, Jenny! We appreciate hearing how the teachers in our network use the books with their kids. You’re the ones doing the hard work; we’re just here to help you.

If you take any photos at the event, feel free to share them on our Facebook page. We’d love to see them! http://www.facebook.com/FirstBook
