BookRenter.com teams up with First Book to Donate Books to Young Readers

Written by Mary Beth F.

We are pleased to announce First Book’s newest partner, BookRenter.com.  BookRenter.com has teamed up with First Book to make educational resources more accessible and affordable for everyone.  As part of an ongoing dedication to providing its customers with community giving opportunities, BookRenter.com has made literacy a top priority.

BookRenter.com supports education by renting textbooks to students for up to 75% below retail price.  Since 2008, BookRenter has supplied more than 5,000 college and university campuses with over 3 million textbook titles.  With every textbook order placed this summer, BookRenter will make a donation to First Book to help place new books into the hands of children who need them most.

Since the partnership launched in May, BookRenter has already achieved more than half of its initial goal: to get 10,000 books into the hands of children by the end of the summer.  Thank you to BookRenter and their customers for their tremendous efforts in supporting First Book and young readers everywhere.  Join us in reaching our goal of 10,000 new books by the end of the summer!
