As the 2008 Presidential election buzz heats up here in Washington, DC and across the nation, our friends at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers are giving kids the chance to cast their vote in celebration of the release of a new book by Charlie Samuels, America: The Making of a Nation.

The campaign, called “America, Your Vote Counts!” gives kids and adults the chance to vote on 10 topics, covering everything from your favorite U.S. President to your favorite American Idol, in an online poll. By casting your vote, you will also be making a difference: For every 10 votes cast, Little, Brown Books for Young Readers will donate a new book to First Book to help a child in need.
