Today First Book celebrates our 16th Birthday, and the distribution of our 60 millionth book! The day has been much calmer than Samantha Baker’s adventures in Sixteen Candles and thankfully, there was no test of the proper stopping distance for railroad tracks, but we did take a little time out to celebrate and look towards our future.

Thank you to everyone who has helped First Book reach this wonderful milestone. May the next year and 10 million books be just as sweet!
