Tae Kwon Do!Tae Kwon Do!, by Terry Pierce, illustrated by Todd Bonita. Tae Kwon Do class is fun and has lots of action! Read about it in rhyme, which is a great language tool. Grades K-2.

Basketballs Greatest PlayersBasketballs Greatest Players, by Sydelle Kramer. What’s the hottest sport around? Basketball, of course! Read up on the statistics and biographies of the five greatest players of all time. Grades 3-4.

Last ShotLast Shot, by John Feinstein. This is heaven: being at the Final Four NCAA tournament and having a press pass as a real life journalist. But some things are not what they appear to be and Stevie and Susan Carol, the winners of a writing contest, stumble on a real life scandal. Nobody believes them, so they have to do the investigating themselves. An exciting page-turner with everything from the inside story of the NCAA to a last second shot. Grades 5-6.
